Pairs of Angels and Children's Books

Hey there lovelies and a very happy day to you, wherever you may be. Today I wanted to share another peek into my design portfolio with you –  this time I’m featuring Pairs of Angels and Children’s Books.

I took part in the MATS bootcamp earlier this year and really enjoyed the March theme of pairs. Of course, I chose to create a pair of Angels and came up with a mini book for children all about when angels lose their wings.

It is so fun to think of children’s book ideas – I really recommend it. Even if it never gets published, the little rhyming couplets, imagining the story through the eyes of a child – these things are so much fun to do!

I thought it was a super cute idea – here are some of the book pages I created to give you the gist of the book:

They do eventually find their missing wings, but I thought it was a cute idea for a children’s book – identifying and recognising lots of pairs of things through the book and helping the angels to find their wings.

I am still working away on my design portfolio (it isn’t ready yet) but I hope to have it up on the site at some stage soon. It will be over on my gallery page if you want to stalk it to find out when it arrives!

Or you can sign up to my newsletter  (at the bottom of this post) – that way I’ll definitely let you know it’s gone live.

Have a lovely day people!

  1. Love your pair of angels. Reminds me of the quote from Luciano De Crescenzo – ‘We are each of us angels with only one wing, and we can only fly by embracing one another.’ Happy PPF, hugs, Valerie
