A Seasoned Return
Hey there lovely people! I really hope 2020 is treating you well. I wanted to make a seasoned return to you all today after my slightly elongated winter break.
I had a lovely break and decided to gift myself a longer holiday than usual just because it felt right. I wanted to cocoon myself and really retreat inwards and rest a little – it was so needed!
Rest assured I do have lots of lovely posts, videos, free printables and more planned for this year on the blog, so I won’t be MIA going forward.
I really enjoy sharing little peeks at my process here, and I really think I would miss this space if it weren’t there any more.
I wanted to return today with another peek inside my design portfolio – this is another piece I completed from a prompt on the MATS bootcamp.
The task was to create a lovely pair of salt and pepper shakers and of course I had to give mine an angelic theme. Here’s what I created:
A pair of lovely calming angels (with salt and pepper coming out of their hair) on a lovely cloud base. The base itself opens up and can be taken on the move with little mini salt and pepper halos inside for the diner on the move!
I thought it was a super cute combination (although I have never tried to design salt and pepper shakers before) and felt that the extra bonus set of halos might just give it the edge.
What do you think? Yay or nay on the salt shakers?
I will keep on sharing my design portfolio ideas here on the blog as I start to piece it together as a whole. It will be interesting to see which pieces get a slot in the final portfolio and which ones are just fun for the blog.
Have a wonderful day lovelies!
